CAREER ADVICE 🐔🐔🐔 Over the past 20 years I’ve looked at a lot of CVs, met lots of people and watched individuals I’ve helped get new jobs land them and then get repeatedly promoted.  So here are some of my learnings from this that will hopefully help you have an amazing career: 🐔 Move internally or externally ever 2 years 🐔 Get some cross functional experience to make you stand out against the coemption 🐔 Ignore external qualifications, you will get a better reward investing that time in your job 🐔 Network hard externally and internally  🐔 Be underqualified for every role you go for, you GET the experience doing the job  🐔 Be comfortable being uncomfortable, it’s how you learn 🐔 Surround yourself with people who know more than you 🐔 Say yes and figure it out later If you want an stellar career you have to work hard at it, just being good at your job isn’t enough.
