Marcus Buckingham's book "Find Your Strongest Life: What the Happiest and Most Successful Women Do Differently" transformed me. I heard him speak at a women's conference, walked outside the convention room to get his book, read it in one day and have never thought about the skills and talents I bring to the table the same way again. This book was my introduction to CliftonStrengths then called StrengthsFinder. Everyday we engage in activities that drain us and if we are lucky do more that energizes us. Sometimes some of the things that drain us are things that we are actually good at -- but we do not enjoy them. Did you know that when our talent development and management is strengths-based employees are six times more engaged, 3 times more productive, and the company experiences lower unwanted attrition? I wrote a short article on why a Strengths-based culture and talent development approach is a game changer and highlighted a firm integrating Strengths into their culture and performance management. You can read the article here-- https://lnkd.in/gMkUjJAX Feel free to contact me if you want to integrate a strengths approach into your leadership development, talent development, coaching, or other aspects of performance management. #strengthsdevelopment #professionaldevelopment #culturechange #wellbeing #cliftonstrengths
