I am 50 Years Old. When I was a kid (1980's) , investors didn't have computers, AI, or any real access to data & information, average ROI's was about 6-8%. Today, we are supposedly more educated, have smart computers and access to unlimited information & data, and exposed to more regulation (reduced failure risk) yet average investment ROI is still just 5-7%..... WTF!!! I personally am disillusioned with the context of present banking & finance industry. To me...the world is an amazing sea of opportunity held back by aging ideology and penny pinching business models that only make money from a 101 perspective... 101 was fine in the 1980's, but human & business intellect has advanced, in brief if you understand 101 thinking, then you might understand 232, or even 656 etc, (that's business models, v. entity operating parameters, v. entity outcomes....) the only firms I am fascinated by are Macquarie Bank (Australian) and JP Morgan (USA)... both of them talk in academic technical applications I have learnt at TAFE, UNIVERSITY and now CPA, The rest of you losers don't deserve to make "big money" because your staff don't or can't grasp the technical foundations that for E.G the money multiplier effect needs to flourish! Bring on the next generation of Nvidia GPU's that will help individuals like me, who is unemployable to the outside world (so far) catch up with the help of AI to acceptable wealth generating meaning of existence... beyond me just sitting here seeing all this potential, yet not being able to make an impact on society yet ... Cheers JP Morgan and Macquarie, for showing me, mid life education was definitely worth it, al be it, its taking some time for me to bear some fruits of my labor!
