Possibly the quickest way to prove to your CFO you need more media budget. Might be simpler than you think. Geo Lift Testing. In short - run small tests around certain cities or regions to prove incrementality. Why? It's easier to prove in a smaller area than across the whole budget. Other compelling reasons to GEO Lift Test: → Geo experimentation can run independent of platform reporting → Doesn’t rely on user-level data to uncover reliable incrementality results. → Can be conducted at the state/city level or even postcode-level in some cases → Reduce business risks associated with a media holdout. And what are your options to get started? - Meta Geo Lift which is open source - GeoX by Google which is open source - Manual Country/City split To make it work, make sure you're clear on your audience and know what media works best in which locations and on which channels. GEO lift testing could be the best and quickest way to prove the need for more budget... Worth a shot if that's what you need.
