I’m excited and honored to share that the founders and board have appointed me as Chief Executive Officer at IgniteData! This is a monumental opportunity to fundamentally advance how clinical trials are managed, globally, with partners throughout the industry to accelerate drug development, decrease costs, and bring life-saving treatments to everyone worldwide! There are way too many people to thank for making this opportunity a reality, from my family to former and current colleagues (Aashka Shah, Joe Lengfellner, Todd Neville), University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business EMBA 27ers (Chin Weerappuli, MBA) and professors, mentors, and friends. It's humbling to be trusted by the IgniteData team and founders (Dan Hydes and Richard Yeatman) to partner with them on this next phase of our journey!

It was tremendously fun to spend the day with the Microsoft for Startups team discussing AI trends in healthcare. It’s impressive hear about the activities at NYC healthcare systems in advancing and governing AI in healthcare, making sure we as an industry are harnessing this technology in the best ways. As always, it’s insightful to learn from David Rhew, M.D. on where innovation is happening in healthcare and how the ecosystem is responding to these solutions. Big thank you to Cathy Zhu, Colleen Healy, Sally Ann Frank, and the rest of the Microsoft team for inviting me to speak with colleagues from NYP, Mt Siani, and Montefiore!

I chatted with Cassie Campbell 2.5 years ago about joining MSK. The main reason, was the opportunity to work with Peter D. Stetson, MD, MA, FAMIA, a leader I’ve truly idolized since I first met him in 2017. It was one of the best professional decisions I’ve ever made. This role reports directly into Pete and I could not imagine a better opportunity if you are an expert in AI and want to make a global impact in oncology patient care. You’ll have the opportunity to work with the world’s leading researchers, clinical teams, and one of the best IT teams in any industry! Add in the opportunity to be on the same team as John Philip, Abigail Baldwin Medsker MBA MSN RN, and Maclain (Riccardi) Damstrom, it’s a dream job!!

Excited to have been given the opportunity to announce today at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's Life Sciences Innovation Summit the official launching of the Clinical Research Innovation Consortium (CRIC), with my colleagues Dr. Paul Sabbatini, Stephanie Terzulli, Joe Lengfellner and Aashka Shah. Huge thank you to all of those, internal and external to MSKCC, who supported the ideation, development, and launching of CRIC. At CRIC, our mission is to leverage MSK’s position to lead the global healthcare sector in innovation and scalability within the global clinical research space. We are building a consortium dedicated to developing novel solutions that address significant challenges in clinical research—benefitting patients, academic medical centers, research sites, clinicians, sponsors, and regulatory bodies.
