We're beginning to see massive institutional interest in the tokenization of financial assets for a variety of reasons. With fewer dependent intermediaries to execute and settle transactions, my belief is that we'll see a wider array of higher margin structured products, exchange traded portfolios, and other diversified risk products packaged and tokenized on-chain.

BlackRock's Larry Fink: - The next step beyond ETF is tokenization of financial assets - 'Every stock, bond will have its own CUSIP-like token on one general ledger' - 'We can rid ourselves of all elicit activities' - 'Most importantly, we can customize investment portfolios for each individual' - 'We will have instant settlement. Think about all the costs of settling bonds and stocks. In tokenization, that's just a line item' - '(Tokenization) is a wrapper.'
