Midweek cravings? We have this delicious recipe to fulfil them! INGREDIENTS: 1 package puff pastry sheets 1 package guava paste 1 package cream cheese (optional) 1 egg. INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Thaw the puff pastry according to package directions, usually about 20-30 minutes. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Set aside. Cut guava into thin slices. If using cream cheese, cut the block into slices too. Unfold one of the pastry sheets and place it on the cookie sheet. Place 6 slices of guava per pastry sheet fold about 1-2 inches apart (you’ll have 18 slices total on the entire pastry sheet). Add cream cheese over guava paste slices (optional). Unfold the second pastry sheet and place it over the other one that now has the guava paste slices. Cut into 9 squares and score the tops of each one. No need to divide the squares. Leave everything intact. Brush egg wash on each one to get that flaky crust. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve immediately and enjoy! Delicious Strawberry Tartlets Ingredients: A puff pastry sheet, fresh strawberries, rosewater, powdered sugar. Prep the berries: - Slice the berries into rounds, and toss them in a bowl with the granulated sugar and a little rosewater. Prep the pastry: Using a cookie cutter cut out 12/14 large hearts from the dough. Bake: On a baking sheet place the strawberries across the pastry, leaving a ¼ inch edge. Bake @350F for 15-20 minutes to turn golden brown. Decorate: Take out from the oven, add some powdered sugar on the edges, serve, and enjoy.

Honey Brie Bites SERVING SIZE18 squares Preheat oven to 400°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Ingredients: 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed and cold 8 ounce wheel of Brie 1/2 cup honey 1 cup candied walnuts 1 egg Directions: 1. On a floured work surface, roll out each sheet of puff pastry. Cut along the seams to form three long rectangles. Then cut each rectangle into three squares. (9 squares per sheet). 2. Slice Brie into 18 small wedges. On each puff pastry square place a wedge of brie, about 1/2 teaspoon of honey, and a sprinkle of chopped candied walnuts. 3. Fold the pastry over the brie to form a rectangle or triangle. Use a fork to crimp the edges. Then pierce the top of the pastry with the fork to vent. 4. In a small bowl beat the egg and brush the tops of each puff pastry. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. After baking drizzle with honey and finely chopped candied walnuts. Best served warm. Enjoy!
