Great news for the clean future of flight: American Airlines commits to the conditional purchase of 100 ZeroAvia hydrogen-powered engines and increases its investment in our company. ZeroAvia is designing an engine for regional jet aircraft such as the Bombardier CRJ700, which American operates on certain regional routes. These investments are intended to meaningfully contribute to the world’s largest airline’s aggressive goal to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Details here, including commentary from American’s CEO, Robert Isom and ZeroAvia Founder and CEO, Val Miftakhov: https://lnkd.in/eA7yhzFX #zeroemission #hydrogen #aviation #aircraft
Congratulations. I was just wondering , since the engine will be fitted to CRJ’s, is the engine you are working on a turbo fan engine? Thanks for posting and congratulations again. With the closure of Universal Hydrogen, it’s nice to see some success with hydrogen electric propulsion. Keep moving the industry forward.
Thanks for sharing💡🤠
Well done! And so proud of our county making these kinds of strides and investments!
