As we celebrate World Suicide Prevention Day, let us join hands together to raise awareness, break the stigma, and offer support to those in need. Suicide is the second leading cause of death among young people between ages 15-29. Over 700,000 lives are lost to suicide globally every year, we can make a difference and save lives by promoting open conversations (with friends, families, and colleagues), mental health education, access to resources, and support from mental health initiatives. InSiGHt Health Consulting in collaboration with SURPIN (Suicide Research & Prevention Initiative), manages a toll-free hotline call centre to attend to anyone that requires psychosocial support. Please, if you need help, call the SURPIN toll-free hotline - 08000787746. You will be attended to and referred to an expert if you need additional support. Remember, a small act of kindness and understanding can make a significant difference in someone's life, especially when they are going through difficult times. Let’s stand together to prevent suicide and create a world where everyone can live a healthy and fulfilling life. #worldsuicidepreventionday #mentalhealthmatters #breakthesilence #InSiGHtHealth #endthestigma #preventsuicide
