A interesting experiment where we delivered this feature as part of a speed release, and it was pushed live in less than a week. Idea floating on Monday and customer using by Friday 😀 We at Foodhub belive in INCREMENTAL Release, instead of working for a months on a feature and then go live to gather feedback. We deliver part by part. As part of phase 1 we support customer to create group ordering and make a successful order and later releases they can see more advance feature. Santhosh Kumar is the guy who took up this challenge and achieve it with shinning colour. You might we wondering what else Foodhub team can do. In their winter magazine edition, Specialty Food Association is giving us a preview of the top trends of 2024. Some of these expected trends include, cell based meat and seafood, unique flavors and ingredients such as peach, calabrian chili peppers, black sesame, ube and the use of tahini. However, one of the biggest trends expected is a flurry of activity and new products in the beverage space. We are excited that beverage sales are up and innovation is expected in the non-alcoholic fizzy and non-fizzy spaces as well as coffees, teas and broths. This news made us think, what companies have recently launched some of these on-trend products and who should we watch in 2024. In the single serve beverage space we are excited about soda makers poppi and OLIPOP PBC, whose single serve cans include prebiotics, low sugar and clean ingredients. Mocktail Club is already using herb flavors and their Bombay Fire mocktail includes on-trend ingredients such as tea and chili peppers. Last but certainly not least is HOP WTR whose non-alcoholic brews already come in a variety of flavors including peach. Breaking news! 📣 As part of the “Plant-based for Everyone” campaign, BURGER KING Deutschland GmbH has reduced the prices of all of its plant-based options making them cheaper than their meat options. 🎉 By making the plant-based options more affordable, Burger King is breaking down the price barrier. At the same time, taste is at the heart of their plant-based options. Their slogan has been 0% meat and 100% taste, showing consumers that they don't have to compromise when choosing plant-based meals. We're glad to see that the fast food chain is making their more sustainable options more affordable. We hope that this will encourage many consumers to try plant-based.
