Fusion Fund had an amazing, productive week at #NYTechWeek, where we hosted two major events: the closed-door "Sip & Supper" AI investor dinner, and the "AI Models & Bottles" founder happy hour. I also delivered a talk on AI infrastructure at Columbia University in collaboration with the Asian Faculty Association. These events offered fantastic opportunities to discuss the future of AI and engage with leading minds in the field in NYC. Sip & Supper AI Investor Dinner We hosted a private evening at Zero Bond, connecting investors with AI researchers and founders focusing on AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, and tech bio. Our speakers included: - Dr. Neville Sanjana: Co-founder of OverT Bio and New York University professor, spoke about AI's impact on healthcare. - Dr. Zhou (Jo) Yu: Associate Professor at Columbia University, discussed Conversational and Generative AI. - Ben Colman: Co-founder of Reality Defender, presented on AI and cybersecurity.
