This year's #INEED features Andrew Miller and Elliot Dason, presenting 'Rock Climber: Making Everywhere Accessible, To Everyone' from 11.10 to 11.40 AM. Andrew Miller With an MSC in Motorsport Engineering, and over 15 years industry experience Andrew has acquired an extensive range of experience. Roles have included Design Engineer at both Lotus Renault GP and Caterham f1, where he first worked with Elliot. Responsibilities there included composite design – front wings, diffusers, panels, drag reduction systems as well as Mechanical design - of brake systems, rear suspension, uprights, and wishbones. After 5+ years in formula 1, more recent work has included Design Engineer at JLR working in the advanced product creation department. Since 2017 Andrew has been the Chief Designer at an Automotive and Motorsport Engineering Company where he was responsible for the design element of all Engineering projects. As well as sign-off standards, and quality management system implementation Elliot Dason-Barber A chartered Mechanical Engineer with 30 years of experience within the motorsport, & automotive sectors. Has held senior roles within various Formula 1 teams including head of Vehicle Dynamics at Red Bull Racing, Lotus Racing, Head of R&D at Caterham F1 and Head of Performance Engineering at Sauber F1. Most recently was Technical Director at an Automotive and Motorsport Engineering Company responsible for Engineering, and strategic development, for all its motorsports and automotive vehicle programmes. Has a wealth of experience with Vehicle Dynamics, Suspension Design, Tyres, Simulators, and Rig Testing, and has been involved in developing numerous vehicle types including SUV, sports-cars, fwd cars, LMP1, GT3 and Formula 1.
