2023 History Nebraska Award Nominations
History Nebraska is now accepting nominations for the 2023 Annual History Nebraska Awards!
"Every day Nebraskans who love history as much as we do will be recognized for their efforts and passion during the History Nebraska Awards Presentation in Lincoln on April 26, 2023."
The History Nebraska Awards will honor Nebraskans through three (3) awards!
Champion of History Award: Recognizes outstanding contributions by an individual or organization that helps to preserve or interpret Nebraska history.
History Nebraska's Excellence in Teaching Award: Given annually to a teacher who excels in teaching Nebraska history through creativity and imagination in the classroom by using documents, artifacts, historic sites, oral histories and other primary sources.
History Nebraska Advocacy Award: Given annually to recognize outstanding contributions or assistance by an individual or organization to History Nebraska through volunteerism, advocacy or donation.
Help History Nebraska recognize Nebraskans who love their state and it's history!
Nominations are due by December 31, 2022--click here for the nomination form. Winners will be notified by mid-January 2023!
