1. Don’t realize their history or value.
2. Forget cultural differences.
3. Don’t listen.
4. Say whatever you want in front of the customer.
5. Make them tell their story over and over to multiple people before they get         help.
6.Don’t say thank you.
7. Force them to wait without giving them a good reason why (or any reason why).
8. Don’t collaborate across departments.
9. Know less than the customer about your product.

11. Make excuses for problems that were obviously your fault.
12. Don’t let them “into” your business (don’t answer the phone, don’t greet them, etc.).

Great post Paul and so true. Sometimes we all forget that without customers we are't needed!
