5 opportunities from the Coronovirus or Covid-19 pandemic!

This might be a little controversial to state, and I am expecting many comments demeaning how we can look at the positives of a pandemic. Well, social media is anyways full of all the negatives that are gonna happen in this world, you should know the positives as well.

1. Better Habits:

We learn from childhood the importance of cleaning our hands, and brushing our teeth after each meal or atleast twice in a day. Not many implement the same in their daily affairs, this virus gives you no option but to follow the rules. The virus will not be there forever, just ensure the habits remain.

2. Live simpler:

This gives a chance for the new gen to understand that life is not just about traveling, partying, enjoying, and also not just about ones career. You need to also save up and have a back up incase of bad circumstances like these that can lead to financial difficulties. Enjoy life, take small breaks to rejuvenate but always strive for financial independence. Also don’t take life very seriously. The virus has no ego, and doesn’t look at your social standing. Be good, earn money, enjoy life, save money, spend time with your loved ones!

3. More time with family:

Many companies have recommend work from home options. And if you were addicted to go out daily after work, you now have no option but to reconnect with your family. Just don’t waste this time looking at your phones and iPads on coronavirus news.

4. Invest in the share markets:

If you missed the buzz of 2009 and 2017, you have got a chance again. Invest in mutual funds or index funds or the top 100 shares with a 5-10 year horizon. Such opportunities only come once every 10 years.

5. Chance to buy your dream home:

While this might not be the best time to buy a home as an investment, there would be no ideal time to buy your end use apartment. Negotiate on good payment plans with listed developers and use this opportunity to find your dream home. The virus as I said will not be there in few months, but a HOME is a tangible asset for life.
