Traveling as an LGBTQ+ individual can be a mix of exhilarating adventures and significant challenges. While exploring new destinations offers the promise of exciting experiences, many in the LGBTQ+ community must navigate a complex landscape of varying levels of acceptance and safety.
According to a recent myGwork community poll, 51% of respondents expressed significant concern about LGBTQ+ rights at their travel destinations before booking a trip.
In this edition of our newsletter, we will delve into the trials and triumphs of traveling as an LGBTQ+ person, as well as what our corporate partners are doing to protect travellers.
