Back in person at #ADIPEC2021

What a week! It was great to be back in person at ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference in #AbuDhabi and connecting with all our customers, partners and colleagues. The conference was a great platform to discuss the latest #energy trends and how we can continue collaborating to drive the #energytransition.

I'm very proud that Baker Hughes has announced and signed a number of agreements during the event that further strengthen our presence and commitment to the #UAE and to supporting ADNOC's in-country value program by prioritizing local capability building, job creation, manufacturing and supply chain development. We are also keen on providing our latest technologies that can help industry advance on the path to net-zero and a sustainable energy future.

We've have been awarded two major contracts by ADNOC Group through our local partners in the UAE, the first is a 10 year contract for the manufacture, supply, storage and service of surface wellheads and tree systems and the second is a five year contract for the manufacture, supply, storage, installation and service of liner hanger systems.

We also signed a collaboration agreement with AIQ to partner on developing, deploying and commercializing advanced analytics solutions and AI products for the oil and gas industry, with a special focus on improving the efficiency of upstream operations. The agreement builds on our ongoing partnership with #ADNOCDrilling and supports ADNOC and the UAE's digital transformation journey.

Additionally, Baker Hughes and Cairn Oil and Gas signed two MOUs to further unlock India's energy potential in the upstream sector. As well as another agreement with PETRONAS which focuses on capability building, operational excellence and exploring opportunities to further drive the energy transition.

We feel energized coming out of #ADIPEC2021! Abu Dhabi has once again proven that it is indeed a strategic energy hub serving and connecting the world. I would also like to congratulate the UAE on hosting #COP28; which is another testament to the government's ongoing efforts to drive the energy transition.

Through our engagements with different customers across the region we are assured that we all same the vision and journey towards net-zero. We all came to the conclusion that collaboration and partnership are essential to reach our joint ambitions towards a more sustainable energy future.
