Becoming an Adept
A couple of definitions that inspired me recently:
adept: one who is completely skilled or knowledgeable in all the secrets of his or her art
That's a cool concept! Knowing all the secrets!
Adept is above mere competence. Do you have complete knowledge of all the secrets of your area? If not, what would you life be like if you did?
unthinking: unable or unwilling to think deeply about things
I realized I can't be an adept and be unthinking. It takes effort (hard work!) to become an adept.

5yAll, never, always are such strong words. I try to avoid using those kinds of absolutes. I have intimate knowledge of a few things, but knowing all is a tall order, and I don't think I will ever attain that. Not that I won't try.
