However, turning this vision into reality won't be easy, as other social platforms have faced challenges with in-stream payments. Despite the risks, Musk is committed to making 'X' a transformative platform, but only time will tell if it gains traction and becomes the new era of Twitter!

TikTok is exploring ecommerce integration with a "shop feed" feature currently being tested among select users. This new tab showcases a tailored selection of products that align with users' preferences and behavior.

Meta's Twitter rival, Threads, has encountered a decline in daily active users by approximately 70% since its launch, raising concerns about its future potential. However, the platform's potential remains promising, with 117 million people already creating Threads profiles, indicating some public interest! Threads' focus on an emerging mobile market, particularly in India and Brazil, holds promise for expanded growth and could potentially position it as a key real-time app in those regions, so I guess we’ll have to see how things pan out for this platform!

Spotify increases its prices for its premium subscription plans.

Spotify has announced a price adjustment for its Premium subscription plans, with increases of up to $2 across various offerings. The company attributes the changes to the evolving market landscape and aims to continue delivering value to fans and artists. In the U.S., Premium Individual, Premium Duo, Premium Family, and Student plans will see price hikes, and the same applies to several other countries. Existing subscribers will be given a one-month grace period before the new prices take effect.

TikTok introduces a new text-based format for posts, allowing users to write up to 1,000 characters alongside sound, stickers, and other features. This move comes amidst Twitter's recent rebranding to "X" and a series of unpopular changes, leading users to explore alternatives. With TikTok's massive user base of over a billion and its popularity among Gen Z, it poses as a potential contender to become the preferred Twitter alternative.
