HDM Trivia

Leadership Message: Tyler Smith, CEO

At HDM our vision is to be healthcare's most respected technology services firm and in order to live up to our vision we need to earn the trust of our clients and of the top professionals who possess the skill sets in the service lines we currently play: Data Management, Integration, Project Management, and Clinical & Business Applications.

Trust is built over multiple interactions with mutually beneficial outcomes. More specifically, it is built through the relationships our HDM team members maintain with our client partners (from analyst to the highest level of leadership), along with the relationships we foster with the top industry talent, who populate (or we hope to populate) our Delivery team. By meeting and exceeding expectations year after year on both fronts, our clients put more trust in us to perform more work at their organizations, attracting more top individuals who want to work with HDM.

We are proud of the portfolio of work our clients allow us to do and the amazingly talented folks who perform this work. Those individuals who put in the "hands-on-keys" work at our client sites are the most highly desired team members in the industry. If you are one of those folks, know that as we scale we know we must continue to keep you challenged, and identify and attract more like you. We want to create the best home (either permanent or temporary) for individuals who can do the best work in Data Management, Integration, Project Management, and Clinical & Business Applications.

To that end, our recent efforts in marketing - from our Articles to our Client Success Stories and to our White Papers - showcase the capabilities within our Delivery team's service lines. These pieces contain storylines of client success brought about by our talented team members. In every Newsletter, we share the recent collateral—in this edition, you will find more details regarding the Go-Live capability of our Clinical & Business Applications service line, in addition to two articles focusing on our Data Management service line, wherein we highlight our expertise in data extraction.

And while we want all the top organizations to become HDM customers and all the top talent in healthcare technology to choose HDM as their home, we know that it may not have happened yet. To that end, we still want to provide value to you (in whichever category you may fall) via insights from some of the most respected names in healthcare through our QuickHITs podcast. In the show, Ken Booth and I have been blessed to host some of the top leaders and thinkers in the space and we encourage you to listen and provide feedback.

We understand that we still have a long road ahead of us in our quest to be healthcare's most respected technology services firm—if such an achievement were easy, we would need a new vision. However, we know that our continued growth in the number of clients who trust us and in the number of team members who work with us signals that we are on the path. We never rest on our laurels at HDM, so we know we must continue to exhibit our core value of grit. But we know that if we do our jobs well we not only will accomplish our vision but will achieve our mission to empower patients and providers by unleashing the potential of healthcare data and technology. We will make IT happen!
