Savage Arms, located in Lakefield and Westfield Massachusetts, has new ownership. An investor group which includes Savage President and CEO, Al Kasper, purchase the company from Vista Outdoor. Vice President and General Manager Terry McCullough says the transition will be very stable, with no changes anticipated. Savage Arms is celebrating two anniversaries this year, 125 years since Arthur Savage founded the company in Utica New York, and 50 years manufacturing rifles in Lakefield. And two of their employees recently marked milestones, Dave Myles with 40 years at the company, and Ernie Barrage with 47 years. Congratulations to all.
