The COLA acronym returns

Just as J.B. Hunt is paying nearly $10 million in holiday bonuses to truck drivers and other workers, the American Trucking Association, an industry group that monitors the driver shortage, has said the sector is some 80,000 drivers short. Watch for even more carrier-cost increases followed by “cost-of-living” labor contracts.
