Conferences are suppose to be a great way to expand your professional network.

However it can seem a bit intimidating - especially when it seems like "everyone" knows each other.  How to Network at Conferences has some great tips for making it easier when attending professional association conferences. I find that going up to speak with the presenters after their breakout session is an easy first step. What's your best practice?
