Czech Government Hopes To Change Constitution & Let Citizens Use Guns Against Terrorists

Josh Sigurdson talks with author and economic analyst John Sneisen about plans by the Czech government to amend the constitution to allow citizens to use guns against terrorists. This is a concept Josh has spoken about before with fellow voluntaryist Eric July of 'Backwordz' fame.

Though the Czech Republic which has gone through Soviet oppression has pretty lenient gun laws, this is definitely a step in the right direction. Next up? Abolish the state! 

The fact is, multiple western governments, as well as middle eastern allies, have armed terrorist groups while creating blowback at the same time. So whether people like it or not, terrorism is a real danger. 

However, people often worry about how we would handle the situation if the state were abolished. Well, if people were well armed, criminals and terrorists would be incredibly stupid to try and attack those people. The level of safety goes way up. 

Though many on the left will say guns are loud and scary, statistically, places with the least gun laws as well as large numbers of people who carry on a daily basis end up with the lowest crime rates. 

Then we look at places like Chicago and while the gun laws are tough, their crime rate cannot be beaten. It's so high people are more and more avoiding the entire city altogether. 

Society comes together when free individuals have a defense, are able to grow their own and build their own as well as being insured with sound money. This is true freedom and we wish the people of the Czech Republic well!
