Dreamforce 2015 - What was all the fuss about

WOW - Let me tell you as events go, this is THE event for sales and marketing folks to learn collaborate, share, discuss, network and importantly party. I thought Id offer my view from the inside track of building a revamped partner ISV ecosystem and understanding why Dreamforce gathers together over 150,000 people from all over the world that are focused on taking their business, however big or small, to the next level.

We recently announced some amazing new partners, some of which showcased their integrations with Sage Live including Kimble, the professional services automation solution and Xactly the leading SaaS provider of incentive solutions. The Sage Live partner ecosystem is really starting to build out. Remember, Sage Live was concept to app in 26 weeks and is revolutionising the way small and medium businesses manage in realtime, everything that is going on inside their organisations on any device from any location.

The newly announced Sage global ISV program is here folks and were creating a fantastic ecosystem of top notch partners to build our commitment of customers for life.

So I spent all my time speaking with and seeing cool solutions that really fit well with Sage. So many to mention, from CPQ solutions from Apptus and Steel Brick, document management solutions from eFilecabinet and Box, digital transaction management platforms from DocuSign, global customer communications platforms from New Voice Media, to learning management solutions like Cornerstone, the innovation is endless and the buzz from Sage partnering with Salesforce is immense. So much so, that #sagelive was trending just behind #DF15, the event hashtag!

Everywhere you turned in San Francisco, from Moscone to Market Street, from Mission to O'Farrell, were hoards of excited customers and partners draped in their dreamforce lanyards carrying their dreamforce backpacks. Sore feet, tired eyes, still riding high on adrenaline fueled excitement at what the day held.

Outside the amazing Salesforce platform technology and partner showcase was the networking, mainly at some of the often indulgent events laid on by the partners. Top eateries, bars, clubs, to the occasional former Russian embassy (Im not joking,) to eating your lunch whilst watching Stevie Wonder live ahead of the main event featuring the Killers and the Foo Fighters, made Dreamforce just amazing. WOW, I cant wait to next year.

We would love to engage with many more of the current Salesforce ISV partners. Please contact me for more information on our new global ISV program and join the Sage revolution.

Nice work, Michael De Jongh. Sage will do very well with your leadership
