There are two different form of emotional intelligence which can also be divided into categories each. The two forms of emotional intelligence are personal competence and social competence. The personal competence entails in self-awareness and self-management whereas social competence entails in social awareness and relationship management. Emotional intelligence is the foundation of critical skills. Emotions are primary drivers of our behavior. When you master your emotions and become able to manage them effectively, it ends up positively affecting everything else. It will mostly affect the way you live your life and more importantly it will affect how you make decision. Research has shown that emotional intelligence account for 60% of job performance for supervisors among the CEO’s.
