Employee Well-being in the Spotlight: Discovering Fun and Self-Care at Work

No matter how old employees are, fun is the number one driver of well-being. Well-being took centre stage in July, culminating in the International Day of Self-care on the 24th. We took a deep dive into the data of our Certified companies to pinpoint those excelling in best practices for fun and well-being.

Moose Toys is a great example of workplace fun. Not only do employees get to play with toys every day, but Moose also offers loads of playful perks like an on-site gym, fitness classes, celebrations and special events, a vegetable patch, regular guest speakers, reward and recognition programs, bring your dog to work, and a school holiday program for the kids.

Hilton estimated that 80% of its workforce is impacted by caregiving responsibilities, so they launched a resource hub to connect employees with information and tools. Hilton also partnered with Wellthy, a service that allows team members to find care services for children and ageing parents.
