Employees say

Dear Companies- Step up to help employees, should not lay off employees, should provide additional insurance, No Pay Cut, Think about our livelihood.

Dear Companies- How dare you laid off, This is a wrong firm, will post on Glassdoor, Will never work. Will take legal action.

Most of the time, firms have to listen to all the above comments when the action of a firm is not in favor of the employees, even if they don’t want to take it. The lockdown has forced companies around the world to adapt to new ways of working and doing business, which experts believe will become the new normal.

What are the employee’s responsibilities to help the firms?

Lately, I have been hearing and seeing certain denial words and ignorant behaviors of the employees, which made me so anxious and compelled to write a plea to every employee.

The current demand of the employees- Not logging on time, Netflix, Can’t work extra hours, No weekend work, will see it tomorrow, -- Seriously? Are you on HOLIDAYS??? If you need us to look after, you also need to see the current situation of the firm. All enterprises will experience challenges in acquiring new clients, renegotiating existing contracts, and dwindling revenues. These will put pressure on cash flows forcing enterprises to re-engineer business models to reduce costs.

We at the hover of the pyramid, no one is there to listen to us and share our pains. We are still thinking about you…..Are you?

rightly said.......it's a two way business....yes employers are bound to look after us but the same is for the employees. They too have to make sure they stand by their firm in this tough time, be more productive and at times push a little extra. Employees are the ones who indirectly run the business, their productivity is a direct impact

Well expressed! Running the show in these hard times; is not the employer's responsibility ONLY; as it doesn't take long to see the sides of the table switch.
