"The future is not all screens...it's humanity enhanced."-Max Stossel

I'm a bit late to join this movement, but I've been an advocate for the underlying meaning for years. Technology is only as good as you use it. Or don't use it. It's in the users hands. Or in your pocket. Your choice.

I'm all for pulling the phone out during a conversation, if it enhances the connection with the person you are talking with - and most of the time it does if you are sharing something found on it - right then and there. (Why I don't like Apple Watch, that's only for one person. It's isolating vs. sharable.)

And Time Well Spent goes even further and brings designers together to learn the patterns, design best practices that create interfaces that work towards this. Some of the better apps have been designed with this in mind...Headspace, Asana, f.lux....

Check out their invaluable site with answers to 'is this actually possible?' and 'how do I get involved?' Designers: Take the hippocratic oath here. Sociologists or curious humans: Join a Research Group here. Users/Consumers: Join the movement here.
