Philadelphia, PA - looking for A&P mechanics, avionics, sheet metal, and quality inspectors!! Paying up to $45/hr. depending on experience


Looking for helicopter experience but will take other experience!

NO TOOLS REQUIRED

1st & 2nd Shift Opportunities Available

  • 1st Shift: 7 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3 PM – 11:30 PM

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $45.00/hr BASED ON EXPERIENCE

A&P Mechanic - 

Perform inspections, repairs, services and modifications to helicopter airframe and engines. Move and position aircraft in the hangar and on the flight line. Work overtime and travel as needed. Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities associated with supporting the daily operations activities of the Part 145 repair station. 3+ years of Helicopter maintenance, experience. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principals as applied to aviation. Must be able to use / interpret diagrams, blue prints and technical publications. Experienced performing inspections. FAA Airframe & Powerplant Licenses is preferred but not required.

Aircraft Structures Technician - 

Able to follow instructions to perform any structural repairs either minor or major including but not limited to sheet metal and composite materials. Need to demonstrate full understanding on reading blueprints to be used either to modify or fabricate new parts. Performing inspections, repairs, services and modifications according to FAA regulations and standards. Perform scheduled and special inspections, correct discrepancies, service systems, adjust, repair or replace parts and/or assemble as authorized and assigned. Determine malfunctions by performing standard tests and inspections by using common and diagnostic test equipment. Able to work 4 day / 10 hr per day 2.30 PM -1.00 AM shift if required. Must have atleast an A.

Avionics - 

Avionics Technicians will be working on the A119 (TH-73) commercial helicopters. Able to assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors and other electrical components. Clearly document work performed, control equipment status tags, log critical information during installation, verify parts requests, etc.. Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, written instructions, etc. Able to use a variety of manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, heat shrink gun, complex, specialized aircraft test equipment, etc. Effectively communicate, orally and written, with other employees, members of supervision, and others, as required in their duties. Perform assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical location and conditions, also while wearing required safety equipment. HS Diploma or equivalent. 3 to 5 years of Electrical/Avionic aviation production required. Knowledge of rotary or fixed wing. General overall knowledge of aviation electrical/avionic components.

Quality Inspector -

Performs inspection of aircraft, or parts during modifications, installations, or overhaul to determine airworthiness, safety, and conformance to approved data and Company standards and requirements. Return aircraft and aircraft parts to service. Interprets and conforms work to electrical and structural drawings. Ensures work is accomplished in accordance with FAA regulatory procedures and specifications. Reviews data for major alterations, repairs, and completes, files FAA Form 337. Submits 337 to FAA for field approvals when required. Review of completed work orders. Airworthiness Directive research. Prepares data package for aircraft certifications. Accomplishes Logbook entries. Interface with FAA. Minimum of 5 years quality control inspector experience on turbine helicopters in a Part 145 environment are preferred. 5 years hands-on turbine helicopter maintenance experience. Agusta A109/A119/AW139/AW169 experience is a plus. Strong Avionics background a plus. Technical knowledge in the fields of mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, sheet metal, rigging, instruments, test flights, etc to determine and sign off safety, airworthiness, or conformance requirements. Must be pro-active, team, and detail oriented. Must have a good working knowledge of 14 CFR part 145 regulations and related areas. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs.FAA A&P license is a requirement. Pay - $30-43/hr.

Mechanics –

Seeking UH60 CH47 AH64 mechanics to work on a DoS project doing mods/ resets etc. on rotary wing aircraft. Paying $30-34/hr.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

4+ years’ experience on military helicopter platform

Phase Maintenance or RESET experience preferred

A&P preferred but NOT required

Tools are provided

Must pass first day basic hands on assessment

Army Mechanics w/ MOS- 15T are good fits as well

1st (6am-2:30pm) Must be open to 2nd if work ramps up and they create one

Per diem - right down the middle of pay

Avionics –

currently seeking Avionics Technicians to support contract doing phase maintenance and resets on UH-60s.

They are looking for technicians who have modification and install experience, and/or troubleshooting experience. Must be able to route, run, and terminate wires,

4+ years experience

Any military helicopter or fixed wing experience will be considered as long as they can perform avionics installations and/or troubleshooting

MUST be able to read wiring diagrams Crimp and Pin experience Routing and Terminating wires

- 5+ years of Sheet Metal Experience

- Composite experience is a plus

- Open to corporate jet experience

- Open to Military Experience

- Must be open to working OT

- Must have own basic tools

Structures Mechanic responsible for repair and build-up/refurbishment of heavy-lift military helicopters (CH-53E) and and commercial operations helicopters (S64)

Daily Responsibilities:

-Receive task card in morning meeting

-Consult blueprints for the relevant install or repair

-Select tooling from tool crib or personal toolbox

-Perform repairs by riveting, countersinking, bending and cutting sheetmetal, installing structural components

Mechanics will be assigned to tasks based on abilities: Mechanics with more fabrication ability will fab, installers will install, etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must have own tools - Basic hand tools minimum

A&P preferred but not required

Must be able to drill, cut, bend, countersink, rivet aircraft sheetmetal

Must be comfortable performing a Structures test - few dozen rivets, a couple of bends

CH-53 or other mid to heavy-lift helicopter experience preferred

Inspector responsible for qualify assurance activities related to repair and build-up/refurbishment of heavy-lift military helicopters (CH-53E) and and commercial operations helicopters (S64), including both the aircraft and related overhauled parts.

Daily Responsibilities:

-Receive task card in morning meeting

-Consult blueprints and documents for scheduled inspection activities

-Select tooling from tool crib or personal toolbox

-Perform inspections using micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and other tools

-Coordinate with Quality leadership and mechanics to determine follow up repairs as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

A&P required

Must have 4+ years of Qualify experience in an MRO or Depot-level environment

CH-53 or other mid to heavy-lift helicopter experience preferred

Mon-Thur 6-4 and Friday 6-2:30, OT on top of that

Looking for an A&P Mechanic to perform maintenance on Sikorsky, AW, or Bell Helicopters. Models include S-76, S-92, AW-139, EC-155, Bell 430 and Bell 429. Perform inspections, repairs, services and modifications to helicopter airframe and engines.

1st or 2nd shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
