iLeap, a cutting edge low code development platform

In the current technological climate, being digitally agile is becoming increasingly important. Low code application development platforms enable citizen developers to create and modify applications rapidly even without extensive knowledge on programming. This speed and user friendly nature of low code application development (LCAD) is the key to any digitally agile organization.

Among LCAD platforms, iLeap is the LCAD that is tailor made to be mobile ready, without the need for a proprietary app to be downloaded separately from the app store or google playstore. iLeap is web based HTML 5 compliant, which enables it to run on the browser of any fixed or mobile device seamlessly.

iLeap is compromised of key modules that enable creation of applications, generation of reports, monitoring of processes and other functions.

This article shall go over the basic modules to create a fully functional application.

  1. Data Model

This module enable you to create a data set of the information you want to appear on the form. For more advanced users this module would allow to instantly load up large numbers of elements quickly that can be used to create many forms. However applications can also be created without using this for more elementary level users.

2. Form Designer

This module enables users to create electronic forms by simply dragging and dropping the fields from the control panel on the left. Each element is fully customizeable to allow users to create their unique forms from simple forms to more complex forms.

If you have created data models from the previous module, you can autofill the form designer to instantly create your forms

3. Process composer

The process composer is where users can create their process workflow and map the created forms for the specific process that the application will preform. For example for a claims application here is where you would dictate who approves, what happens if there is a rejection, the notifications if approved etc.

The menu on the left contains all the elements needed to create a workflow from human activities to assign tasks to specific roles, to email activities to be triggered by the application, decision making and much more

4. Apps module

In the apps module is the final module needed before you are able to deploy your created application. Here you can select the created process for the application to execute, the name & icon for the application as well as which users in your organization do you want to have access to the created application.
