Introducing Our AquaHacking Challenge Series: Empowering Innovators to Tackle Pressing Water Issues

There is a pressing issue regarding freshwater in North America. AquaAction is determined to restore the health of our precious freshwater resources. Our mission is to empower young innovators through their entrepreneurship journey in the development and implementation of water-related technologies.

AquaAction runs two tech-focused programs to drive measurable impact for water from ideation to commercialization. Starting at the ideation phase, the AquaHacking Challenge is our Startup Launchpad for students and young professionals, helping them move from idea to startup launch. They compete to develop promising solutions to pressing water issues that were identified by regional leaders. Closing at the commercialization phase, AquaEntrepreneur is our Scale-Up Program to help established enterprises grow and implement water-tech solutions in the municipal and private sectors.

This month, we’re excited to share a series of posts on Social Media to explain the ins and outs of the AquaHacking Challenge! You can expect deep dives into the program's benefits to you, its impact, major milestones and stakeholders involved in its success.

The goal of this program is to bridge the gap between seasoned experts and the next generation of change-makers. By blending the expertise of the workforce with new ideas from youth across North America (with global applicability!), we believe this approach to be the secret sauce of the AquaHacking Challenge to launch impactful and meaningful innovation for the planet and its people.
