Just a thought from a combat Marine that humped and used the AR15 Assault rifle for 5 months.....

NRA members must consider their position on gun 'management' and what the extant 'as is' approach WILL do to our gun rights. This approach will jeopardize our Second Amendment Rights. Assault weapons, bump stocks and hi-cap magazines have no place in our society and ONLY belong in the hands of our armed forces and law enforcement. Tougher background investigations and raising purchasing age are viable actions: I know no one who would protest a closer look into their past in order to preserve their right to train with firearms, own firearms and use firearms to protect their families. Failure to support hardening of gun management laws WILL Adversely affect NRA members including me. I want lawful and responsible ownership operation of firearm to be preserved. [Assault weapons are to be used by our protectors to ". . . support and defend the United States of America against ALL enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC. They have NO purpose in US society!

Al great commentary. I agree 100%. You do not need to hunt with an AK15 or protect you and your family with it. They are military wepons made to protect and defend us. I hope all is going well for you. Dan Lawlor, Sr
