A Look Back: REDI Cincinnati's Inspiring European Trip with EACC Greater Cincinnati

Imagine exploring advanced manufacturing hubs in the Netherlands and Germany, fostering new business partnerships, and cheering alongside newfound colleagues at a Euro 2024 match – that's exactly what REDI Cincinnati 's Gina Rittinger and Cierra Clymer experienced a few weeks ago!

The trip, organized with the incredible support of EACC Greater Cincinnati (European American Chamber of Commerce) was designed to spark innovation, collaboration, and growth.

Some of the trip's highlights included:

  • Discussing Dutch-American relations with U.S. Consul General Kate Nanavatty at a roundtable hosted by Taylor Wessing Benelux in Amsterdam.
  • Learning about sustainable business practices from Rotterdam Partners and the Port of Rotterdam.
  • Exploring cutting-edge technologies in health, energy, and more at Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo.

But the trip wasn't all business. There was also time for cultural exchange and building friendships. The delegation even ended the week on a high note, cheering together as Germany won the opening match of #Euro2024!

A big thanks goes out to everyone who made this trip possible, especially Nicole Fenyo and Claudia Schroeder for their amazing organization, along with outstanding support of EACC NL (European American Chamber of Commerce Netherlands) , JobsOhio and NRW.Global Business .

Sounds like an amazing trip! Euro 2024 and new tech innovations are bound to create some great opportunities. I'm excited to see how these new business connections will benefit the Cincinnati area. How do you think these experiences will shape the local business landscape?
