1. Have a proven record of successfully delivering your product or service. People seeking out your company’s product or service want to know that you have a proven history of being successful. Potential clients want to be able to physically see the work you have accomplished as well as how timely your work is, therefore, when first starting out, building relationships with other companies in your field that have a bigger following can help your company’s owners and members acquire knowledge and advice on how to start building a name for your business.
2. Bring in outside talent to help with projects. By bringing in outside talent to assist in your company’s projects allows for relationships to be built within the same field of work and a reputation to form in the eyes of your client. The overall time it takes to complete a project will decrease and the tools, materials, and labor force needed to complete a project will be available. This will ultimately increase customer satisfaction and allow your company name to gain free marketing through word of mouth.
3. It is ok to say no to work. By respectfully declining jobs that are not of the utmost important to your company’s mission can ultimately save your company time, money, and labor. Also, declining such projects allows you and your business to focus your resources and time on projects that are more suited to your company’s strengths. In the long run, being more selective will increase satisfaction and the overall quality of the job.
