NASCAR Track Spotlight: Iowa Speedway

Located in Newton, Iowa, Iowa Speedway is a cornerstone of the NASCAR circuit, known for its unique 0.875-mile tri-oval track. Since its opening, Iowa Speedway it has become a favorite among fans and drivers for its thrilling races and intimate atmosphere. 

Iowa Speedway was designed by NASCAR Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace and opened in 2006. The track's progressive banking, which ranges from 12 to 14 degrees in the corners, is one of its defining features, promoting side-by-side racing and exciting finishes. The track will host its first NASCAR Cup Series race this year on Sunday, June 16th. Since its inception, Iowa Speedway has hosted numerous memorable events, including NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races, as well as the NTT IndyCar Series.
