Our 2021 recap post 2 months too late

Back in June 2021 Dolly Singh and I founded Earth Partners, because climate change is the greatest threat and greatest opportunity humans face today. We created this hot mess, now we need to fix it. We declared to the world (or whoever would listen)

Earth Partners exists to hyperscale climatetech companies and power this talent transition.

So what have we been up to...

  1. Teaming up with some of the best founding teams in climatetech to scale their organizations. These are founders with audacious goals, who if successful, can make a material impact on battling climate change in our lifetime. These are founders who believe that building the best teams are critical path to their success. These are founders who have hit a growth inflection point they are unprepared for. They want expert help building high-performing and sustainable talent engines. These are companies like: Twelve, Electric Hydrogen, Volta Charging, and Aurora Solar.
  2. Breaking down barriers so that the most ambitious and talented people in the world can transition their careers to climatetech. Climate is relatively new as an industry, at least one where people feel they can: achieve financial and career growth, work with the brightest minds on the most challenging problems, move fast and make real impact. We have known all along that working in climate feels good, but now we know that we CAN HAVE IT ALL! Still, switching jobs and industries is daunting, so we launched the Cool List - you guessed it, the hottest companies keeping Earth cool. Join us on #teamearth
  3. Applying leverage through... recruiters :-). Ok, recruiters may not be the answer to every problem, but in this case where we need millions of people to transition their careers in order to power the clean energy transition, recruiters are a force multiplier. So we teamed up with Terra.do to run a job fair for recruiters interested in working in climate, are building a #recruiters community with Work on Climate, and will be building a recruiter training program to support the unprecedented growth of the climatetech industry. I'm also on a personal mission to bring the most amazing People & Talent leaders into climatetech, because each of us will bring hundreds or thousands more amazing people along with us :-)

Earth Partners has also been growing our team, and I'm honored to call Nadine Silverman and Ray Biron colleagues. We will continue to grow in 2022 and are hiring now - if you are a talent person of any shape or size, feel free to apply or drop me a line :-)
