Perspective

I'm currently obsessed with Sebastian Erras' Instagram page.  The German photographer offers a fresh perspective on the City of Light by always facing down. And as one blogger recently wrote, this vantage never fails to delight.

Erras' images are brilliant in their simplicity, capturing what appears to be an endless array of ornate Parisian floors, along with his own snazzy footwear.

It occurred to me recently while liking another of his photos that perspective is important. How a different vantage point can change everything. I started thinking how by changing my own perspective, say from the point of view of my clients or their customers, could lead to a more creative result.

So that's my goal right now. To commit to exploring challenges and opportunities alike with fresh eyes. "Things are looking up," might be the result of actually looking down.
