Please care about your colleagues.

In today’s competitive hiring landscape, savvy organizations are attracting talent by differentiating themselves with new benefit packages, and many are choosing wellness-led benefits. This is fast becoming the new norm as more and more Singaporeans focus in on their wellbeing - an important trend for HR practitioners who are exploring employee benefits as a handle to address business issues.

According to our  “2017/2018 Global Benefits Attitudes Survey”, 67% of the employees in Asia indicate that managing their health is a top priority . Moreover, more than half (56%) say they suffer from elevated levels of stress.

Our very own wellness regional consultant - @Caleb Tan, shared some insights at our company's Tedtalk about health & wellbeing. The single source of truth does not come from physical only but it encompasses of a few more other major factors like mental and social wellbeing. What touches me is that he ended the TedTalk with ' Pls care about your colleagues.' So...I'm going to buy them some cakes now to provide a sweet ending to this working week.

Don't be surprised to know, little gestures like a smile or gentle thank you.... may well do a good job turning the office into a lovely place to work in.... Appreciation! :)
