Wait...What does this have to do with anything? It's all about connecting.

My family and I were strolling around West Palm Beach after dinner on a busy summer evening. We encountered a young lady who was also enjoying the evening and realized she had a python around her neck.

Intrigued, we asked about the python and found out it was named Penelope. The conversation shifted to the nice evening and learned that the young lady and Penelope were playing Pokemon Go. We also learned that the game had encouraged the young lady to be more active, and she'd lost 10 pounds!

How did a family dinner connect us with Pythons & Pokemon? Common Ground.

Connecting starts with a point of 'common ground' (like taking a walk in the same area). This can launch a connection with someone quite different, and add value to their life, and yours.

Give it a try! While I can't guarantee you'll meet a Pokemon playing, python toting, young lady, it will expand your value and influence.
