Tell us about your proudest moment at Rosewood?

During my time as a Management Trainee at The Carlyle there have been many empowering moments. One that stands out to me is when aspiring business students from LaGuardia Community College came for a mentoring breakfast. During this breakfast I had the opportunity to speak about the path I took to be where I am now. I was also able to pass on advice to these aspiring students to advance their careers in the future. After this session we received many heartwarming words from the students, showing me the great impact that we as mentors can make. This is something that I am excited to do again in the future.

What are some things your team did to make you feel like you belong?

Most recently at my Management Trainee Graduation I had the pleasure of the executive team coming to watch the ceremony and support me. This was a very engaging year and it made me feel extremely welcome to see everyone there!

What’s your favorite dish in the cafeteria?

The brisket!

What is your must have bring to work?

My must have for work is my water bottle. I am always in service and always having my water bottle handy helps me keep hydrated.

If you could travel back in time, what advice would you give yourself on the first day of your job?

If could go back to my first day of work, I would tell myself to take one step back. I was so eager to start on my first day and wanted to jump right into everything, while this showed great passion there was a big learning curve. Once I took a step back in the operations to understand the big picture everything came more naturally to me.
