Safran News #8 — March 2024

March kicked off with the MRO Middle East show, where Safran sealed a number of contracts. Innovation has been a key focus this past month, with the launch of two new Safran Explore programs aimed at identifying promising startups. Safran’s partnership with startups also featured in a brand-new video spotlighting our cooperation with Ineratec.

📣 This month’s major contracts

Three major contracts were signed in March:

✅ Safran Aircraft Engines and Qatar armed forces signed a Services Agreement to support M88 engines.

✅ flyadeal signed an agreement with Safran Nacelles to enhance maintenance of its Airbus A320neo fleet.

✅ CFM signs LEAP-1B engine service agreement for entire American Airlines Boeing 737 MAX fleet.

Safran once again partnered the Hello Tomorrow Global Summit at the CentQuatre center in Paris, March 21 and 22, and supported the Global Challenge competition for deep tech startups as sponsor of the Aerospace category.
