[📣 Press release] Safran Corporate Ventures accelerates investment in innovation for decarbonization, sovereignty and digital.

Safran Corporate Ventures — our venture capital arm — now has a budget of €130 million, an increase of more than 60%, to accelerate its investments in strategic areas of innovation for the Group.

Since its inception in 2015, Safran Corporate Ventures has invested in 22 startups, 17 of which are still in its portfolio. It currently has three funds.

[📣 Press release] 🏆 Safran tops patent ranking in France

For the first time this year, the National Industrial Property Institute (INPI France) has published its ranking of top patent holders in France. And Safran is in first place with a portfolio of 16,457 active patents.

⚡ Safran is working with this startup to devise an electric-hybrid solution for regional air transport.

VoltAero’s Cassio 330 certification plane will be powered by ENGINeUS 100 smart electric motors from Safran Electrical & Power. The goal: take the carbon out of flying!
