Seeking: New Horizons

Seeking: New Horizons

It's been a busy few years. With a new degree in hand (MA in Museum Studies from Harvard Extension School), a published book on food interpretation, and 6+ productive years leading adult programs at the Peabody Essex Museum behind me, I'm now looking for my next opportunities in cultural leadership. I'd like to ask your help in my search for organizations with a need for my skills in cultural leadership, learning, and audience engagement.

My goal is to serve as Executive Director or senior administrator overseeing education, interpretation, or audience engagement at an organization focused on history, art, community heritage and/or nature. I'm focusing my search on the mid-Atlantic and greater Northeast (Washington, D.C. through Massachusetts), so I can keep close to family roots in New Jersey.

To help me identify possibilities, I'm interested in talking with people in museums and other cultural organizations that are aiming to break from the pack, connect with new and diverse audiences, and create meaningful impact on their communities. I'd appreciate your ideas about people I might benefit from talking to and organizations I should have on my radar, whether or not they have open positions at the moment. Any and all suggestions are welcome!

I really appreciate your ideas and suggestions. If it would help to see some of what I've been doing recently, please check out my LinkedIn page and my brand new website.

Thank you VERY much for your assistance with this process. And as always, please let me know what I can do for you in turn. Stay in touch, and I will keep you posted on how things unfold!
