Southampton's New Waterfront discussed on 'The Business'

There are ambitious plans for Southampton's Waterfront and Ernie Battey from Lucent Group explained the development during 'The Business' on 103.9 Voice FM.

Using the excellent images supplied by the architects, Ernie talked
through the proposal and philosophy behind the new look for Mayflower Park and the Royal Pier, which has been closed since 1990.

This video uses that conversation as a backing and means to displaying the images and showing off what could be a massive shot in the arm for the city.

People need to get real. I've been to many European cities and Southampton are a long way behind. This is a long overdue project that will help the look of the city ,However it is a city steeped with history that the council do very little to promote.

This is one of the best audio/visual presentations I have ever watched...connecting on so many levels Xan and putting Southampton well and truly on the map! You are helping the people and city to smile! Great job!

Cheers John, it's the guest and the images that make it. Best 'artists impressions' I have ever seen. And we didn't add the bit about the Casino and the Market. Might save that for the director's cut ;-)
