Special Edition: AM 2024

At the end of January, we hosted the 24th Baker Hughes Annual Meeting in Florence, Italy. In case you missed it, click below for highlights:

This year's theme was Energizing Change, addressing how the world of energy is changing, with new demands being placed on both producers and users to address the trilemma of security, sustainability, and affordability.

Together, we must embrace and energize change within our own transition journeys and to propel energy, and industry, towards a more sustainable, efficient, and innovative future. Revisit key takeaways here.

More than 2000 participants joined the Baker Hughes Annual Meeting 2024

The mission for the two-day agenda was clear: to drive meaningful dialogue around the urgency and necessity of transformation across sectors, where we are on our journey to net-zero as an industry, and a clear call to action. "Energizing Change" is a pledge to be proactive drivers of this transformation - facilitating conversations, developing strategies, and building partnerships to turn objectives into realities, beyond hydrocarbons and into new energy frontiers. Developing a suite of effective and credible climate technology solutions will be critical to eradicating the emissions required to achieve net zero by mid-century.

Panelists and keynote speakers on the main stage reviewed the most promising emerging technologies and how they can work in concert to achieve a rapid and vast transformation to a cleaner global energy system.
