Natalie Solomon-Brimage, of HAB's Special Projects of National Significance program, presented data on improved methods for getting women of color living with HIV/AIDS into primary medical care and support services, and retaining them. The program funds more than 60 ongoing projects in eight model initiatives in such arenas as curbing hepatitis C and substance use disorder in people living with HIV/AIDS. Nearly 13,000 people attended the four-day APHA conference last month.
