Superheroes and Superpowers

Without a doubt, our superheroes are our frontline workers. Dole is bringing our superpower of the sun’s goodness, captured in tropical fruit, to nourish our heroes in the front line. We are caring for them, so they can continue to care of us.

We know we cannot do this on our own. That’s why by partnering with others whose superpowers multiply our own, we are getting the gaps closed faster. Our partners are helping power our Sunshine for All Promise, to help people on the frontlines get the nutrition they need to keep going. And to keep families, kids and the elderly healthy during this pandemic.

 At thousands of hospitals across the US, in partnership with the superpowers of Tropical Smoothie Café and Robeks, our heroes in masks are getting helpful nutrition delivered. We’ve partnered with Lyft in Seattle to close the last mile to carry our nutritional power packs to vulnerable seniors. Delivery is their superpower, and right now Lyft drivers are collecting Dole products from our warehouses and delivering thousands of cases of nutritional fruit products to assisted living facilities.

In Asia, working with Korea Red Cross, Thailand Red Cross, and the Research Institute of Tropical Medicine in the Philippines, we are delivering immunity packs for healthcare workers on the front lines of hospitals to keep their energy – and spirits – up as they work around the clock.
