Supporting American Dreamers

Supporting American Dreamers

Please join me in supporting the American Dreamers and maintaining our DACA program

Today I am joining with other CEO’s of technology companies to sign a petition urging the President to protect the American Dreamers and maintain the DACA Program. On the eve of Labor Day Weekend, we come together to celebrate all the hard work that each and every working person in this country contributes to make us a land of opportunity whether we were born here, brought here at a young age or even immigrated here with the desire to work hard and earn a better life.

A few centuries ago, a Dreamer was every American – brought by their parents to this promised land with a right to be here just by living here and contributing. Today, in a state of legal limbo, he or she is your neighbor, classmate, friend, student or colleague. A Dreamer may be the leader of a business you aspire to work for, or the friendly face that greets you at your local coffee shop. Dreamers grow up here listening to the stories of their parents and appreciating what a special country we live in.

Our country's promise is built on the idea that you have more opportunity than your parents. We offer a life of freedom and the hope of success resulting from hard work with a little luck. This is a core value of our American democracy and at the essence of the DACA program

Join me and other business leaders in protecting the Dreamers. We need your support by calling on our President to maintain the DACA program. A Dreamer’s fear of deportation to an unknown country is clearly outside the farthest boundaries of our values.
