Tech Equity Hub 2023 Application Is Now Open

We are excited to announce that the application for Project W’s third Tech Equity Hub is now open. Similar to previous years, our virtual 12-week accelerator will provide a cohort of 8-10 women access to expert faculty and workshops focused on product design, marketing and sales, business strategy, finance, growth, legal, fundraising and personal development, as well as connections to accomplished mentors. Thanks to our generous community partner, Antares Capital, we will once again make nondilutive grants available to members of our 2023 cohort and bring our founders together in NYC to participate in a pitch evening. Tanea Foglia, Director of the Tech Equity Hub, noted that “for female founders of color, even modest funding can help keep the lights on for an additional month, meet payroll, or pay for childcare so the women can attend pitch meetings.”

We hope that in combination with the grants, the Tech Equity Hub will continue its success from previous years. As Project W Program Director, Emily Baum, wrote last month, “Funding for all-women teams has been hovering around this 2% benchmark since I started my first company over a decade ago.” That percentage is even lower for women of color, making programs like Project W’s Tech Equity Hub even more critical.

Applications for the Tech Equity Hub are open until 11:59pm on May 21st.
